My Take On Zitsticka Pimple Patches - Is It A Yay Or A Nay?
I’ve always been the kind of person that takes care of my skin, but even so, I still get the occasional blemish. Sometimes they’re small, and other times, they’re so large they enter the room before I do! And it doesn’t help that I have an unhealthy habit of squeezing my zits, causing them to double in size!
So every time, I go back to some useless zit cream that causes more harm than good to my skin. Most zit creams or acne removers that I’ve tried contain something called “Benzoyl peroxide,” a harsh chemical that never really removes the zit at all…. it simply dries out the skin in hopes of killing the zits. But in my case, it dries out my skin, and the zits are still there! And if you know anything about scaly/dry skin, applying foundation or powder to hide it is a waste of time. It shows right through, and you end up looking even worse!
So trying to achieve pretty and smooth skin during the breakout seasons is impossible for ya girl. Even worse? It always happens on days when I’ve got an important meeting or a date night.
So after canceling the 3rd date, I realized that my zit remover routine needed a change. I decided to roll my sleeves up and get scientific about my zit problem. Resorting to the most trustworthy source, google! And by typing in the “‘best zit remover,” I was guided to a NY Times article introducing a product called Zitsticka.
The NY times talked about how great and effective it was, but I’ve been burned enough times listening to those blogs. So I did more due diligence and kept on googling more about Zitsticka. After the 10th blog and review, the overall conclusion was this product WORKS.
I immediately went onto their website and dived through their reviews to see if this was true… I was greeted with thousands of positive reviews and various products tailored to each skin problem. With everything matching up, I purchased the Zitsticka killa kit, which promises to get rid of pimples by using self-dissolving “micro dart patches.”
The Science
These tiny micro darts self-dissolve to flood the heart of the zit with targeted ingredients, clearing the upcoming pimple before it gets to the embarrassing large. The micro darts are pain-free and permeate the top skin layer. The tiny needles dissolve within two hours, flattening the zit and stabilizing the site. What’s cool about this brand is its signature microdot technology that contains sharper, longer, more stable micro darts compared to other brands. Zitsticka is unique with this precision technology. One thing that worried me was if it would be painful when applying, but that wasn’t the case!
Zitsticka Difference
It arrived in the morning 6-7 days after I placed my order. I opened it immediately and was greeted with this beautiful white square box (similar to a jewelry box). It was smooth, minimalistic, and felt as premium as Apple packaging. Within it were 8 small tea tree swabs and 8 small micro dart patches, and a cute little instructional booklet detailing the easy application process.
I knew this product would be great when I read through the ingredient list. The swab is made of tea tree oil, a natural anti-inflammatory that cools your face and smells like fresh pine trees. It’s not harsh, and when applying it, it feels fresh and cooling on the skin.
The patch is made of hyaluronate acid, which helps remove the gunk from zits, decreases swelling, and isn’t harsh to the skin.
I was excited to try this and used it the day I received it. The first thing I did was prime the area with the tea tree oil Cleaner swab; it felt cool, like peppermints candy canes, and smelled like pine trees. After I applied the tiny killa patch to the giant zit on my forehead, I was pleasantly surprised that this perfect, transparent little patch adhered immediately and was so small/clear I couldn’t even see it!
When applying it, I could feel a cooling sensation while the ingredients penetrated my zit. And it didn’t hurt at all as I thought it would! Zitsticka recommended keeping the patch on for a minimum of two hours, which I did. What felt like forever, two hours finally passed, and when I removed the patch, I was surprised to see my zit almost disappeared!
The swelling, size, and redness, GONE! I’ve never seen such results before at such speed! The patches didn’t dry the area around my skin either. I went ahead and applied my light day cream, my foundation, and powder. My skin looked smooth and almost had a glowy hue to where the zit was. I was ecstatic that I finally had a smooth, beautiful, blemish-free face for the first time in my life. This wasn’t the case just for me either… I had my sister try Zitsticka, she left the patch on for two hours, and her zit disappeared too!
So Is Zitsticka For You?
Zitsticka comes in three sizes, 4 packs for $23, 8 packs for $41, and the best value, 20 packs for $83. If this seems steep, it actually isn’t! Because one Zitsticka patch eliminates the zit the first time in one go.
Considering the amount of money I’ve spent on expensive zit creams and dermatologists, Zitsticka is super effective and a huge bargain, not to mention the exact precision with which it works. You can also bring it along on your travels; it easily fits into a pocket or purse with ingredients that are approved by airlines.
And if you’re worried about the environment and sustainability like me, Zitsticka has you covered. They use minimal packaging to reduce waste; the packages, boxes, and paper are recyclable.
So if you’re looking for an inexpensive product that can eliminate your zits on contact, there’s no better product than Zitsticka. I’m an instant convert and will be using this from now on. I have Zitsticka in my bathroom now, ready to go as well as a few in my purse for any emergencies that might come up. I’ve used Zitsticka a few times and now trust it 100% to do its job!
